About the TIRCP

The TIRCP was conceived amongst the thin dry air of Colorado in a place where engineering and competition shooting happened to intersect. I have used a large variety of vertical fore grips and hand stops. After each one, I eventually ditched it and returned to a slick handguard. They just got in the way too much and they didn't provide leverage where I felt it was most needed. Eventually it dawned on me... my thumb is doing most of the work in keeping my muzzle where I want it, why not give it something to grab onto? Thus the TIRCP was born. After a lot of prototypes and testing, the design landed where it is now.
